I made this workstation using two sheets
of 3/4 inch Birch plywood, cap strip and a 2 x 4 foot piece of white melamine. The melamine work surface is easily removed so it can be flipped or replaced it if it gets too dirty.

All major cuts were done at the lumber supply. It was a fun father/son project completed in one day.

This workstation is just for painting. Conversion and fabrication work are done in other areas so I don't get dust and debris on painting supplies and figures.
The paint bottle rack is made from precut 1/4 x 2 inch wood with 1/8 inch hardwood dowel threaded through the vertical sections to keep the bottles from falling off of the shelves.

The oak rail section I use as a brush/tool block was a freebie from Home Depots scrap bin.
